2015 The Fog-Eater Pinot Noir

One of two appellation blend Pinot Noirs we make, the Fog-Eater enjoys a consistent following of Anderson Valley devotees, as this lovely Pinot Noir offers up distinctive character from this northern coastal valley. This one is not to be missed as it is gorgeous! We have combined the Valenti Ranch, Balo, Fashauer and a bit of Joshua's vineyard for this blend. This vintage shows a brightness and tension from a relatively cool vintage but also shows great concentration due to lower than average yields due to cold and foggy set conditions. Bright red pomegranate and cranberries along with crushed wildflowers and black trumpet mushrooms are immediately present. Quartzite and savory spice follow along with mouthwatering acidity.
