The Perli Vineyard is ten miles from the ocean sitting at 2,200 feet on a steep north east facing slope of thin oceanic soils made up of shale, fractured sandstone and rhyolite. These coastal ridge tops get more sunlight being above the fog yet, they are kept cool by the relentless winds coming off the Pacific.
