This is part two of our first release from our Estate site that sits three miles from the Pacific Ocean and 1,250 feet in elevation. This south slope is located between the East Field and the Pond Block. Ancient ocean floor soils of decomposed sandstone and shale, high in iron content and quartz with a perfect ratio of sand, clay and silt provide ideal conditions for dry farming. Dark high toned plum and raspberry with forest and dried herb notes with very distinct quartz mineral tones. A true Vin de Garde. Cellar this beauty.
